SELECTING YOUR GARMET AND FABRICS
Your custom garment begins with selecting the perfect fabric and finishing details. Whether you arrive with a clear vision or are exploring your options, our expert stylists will guide you through hundreds of premium fabrics and customization choices. From luxurious cloths sourced from renowned mills to personalized touches like lining, thread colour, buttons, and other design elements, this step allows you to create a suit that reflects your personal style while setting the foundation for a truly custom piece.
MEASUREMENTS
Once you’ve chosen your garment, fabric, lining, buttons, and other design details, our team will take a series of precise measurements to ensure the perfect fit. As part of our made-to-measure process, we carefully measure key areas of the body to create a custom suit tailored specifically to you. This step ensures your garment not only looks exceptional but feels comfortable and fits exactly to your specifications.
YOUR GARMENT IS CRAFTED
Once your specifications and measurements are finalized, they are sent to Coppley’s factory in Hamilton, Ontario, where your garment is expertly crafted using advanced tailoring technology and precision manufacturing. Each piece is produced according to your exact selections, ensuring a refined made-to-measure suit designed specifically for you. This process typically takes 14-20 business days, after which your garment is returned to FREEDS for your final fitting and any finishing adjustments to ensure the perfect fit.
FINAL ADJUSTMENTS AND ALTERATIONS
Once your garment arrives back at FREEDS, we invite you in for a final fitting. During this appointment, you’ll try on your made-to-measure suit while our team carefully reviews the fit and notes any final adjustments needed. From there, the piece is sent to the FREEDS tailor shop, where our expert tailors complete the necessary alterations to ensure your custom garment fits precisely to your specifications.
